Adrien Rabiot linked again - source Football365 between £10m and £15m https://www.football365.com/news/juventus-adrien-rabiot-leave-newcastle-important-transfer-approach
Grenoble is near Lyon isn't it? So I'm going with either Paqueta or Guimaraes. Or maybe its Rayan Cherki. I just like him from Football Manager to be honest.
Well him and De Ligt had a falling out on the pitch the other day... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...73/Juventus-brink-dressing-room-meltdown.html Can we not just sign De Ligt though
70 miles away and I'm fairly sure Lyon would have its own airport (may be wrong) Think the Grenoble link from last night was just a charter flight into London. Why not fly the extra bit direct? If it's a player coming in - which I doubt, I'm sticking to Ramsay who has been training in London according to some.
Stop spoiling it. Its Guimaraes coming to sort out our midfield. End of story Lyon does have its own airport I'd imagine. I'm thinking they were being clandestine. Straw clutching stuff.
I'm losing my mind over this! Schick - £50m. Izak - £58m. Vlahovic - £58m. Newcastle will have Dylan Stephenson on the bench and ASM up front vs Watford in a vital relegation match...... Meanwhile, the main owner is in Florida. Now where have I heard that before.....
I hope you know, that if you tell us who pisses on your cornflakes every morning at least one of us will come and help you sort it out
I don't follow why £50m for Schick is a problem? We're still in the same universe that allowed Joelinton to move for £40m, and he isn't even a striker.
We will get a striker. I think they are a bit like a kid stuck in a toy shop with a parent telling them how much pocket money they have left if they buy the big expensive toy first....... talking of kids stuff, I've just thought of who you remind me of sometimes......
Problem I think is that they have a budget set and I think that's around £125m. They then thought they only need 3 maybe 4 at a push positions and have since realised we need 5 to 6 minimum. They then thought a CB was only going to cost them at most £30m. Then realised we need 2 strikers, one of which is a starter and they've just realised all decent ones are North of £50m. They really haven't done any work since takeover on the transfer front.
I'll allow this. I'm just struggling to understand why Nickson, Howe, Hammond and the scouts aren't ready to go? I'm also struggling with commercial income. Where's the big sponsor deals? Why take SD down? Where's Saudia, Saudi Telecom, Aramco deals? The Aramco Stadium? None of these things that were supposed to happen have happened. Instead we've got Howe, Hammond and Trippier.
I have a feeling the sponsorship is being negotiated with the PL - I reckon its delayed due to a certain Tracksuit Tycoons legal case against Staveley and co. How the **** Nickson is in situ still is mind boggling.
The frustrating thing is it's not really AS, MG or JR job to work this out. It's Eddie Howe, it's Nick Hammond, it's Steve Nickson. Personally I think the worst thing the owners have done is not just going out and employing someone like Luis Campos or Michael Emenalo. ****ing sat here with Steve Nickson, Nick Hammond, who was a disaster at Celtic, and Dan Ashworth being touted for the role? Hardly "best of the best" is it.
I think somehow Hammond has persuaded them to give him an audition for the role, and he is ****ing blowing it monumentally. Our next signing without a doubt is Todd Cantwell
