The atmosphere was awful.

I honestly can't seen how anyone can say it was anything other than poor .

I just got the impression a lot of fans just thought we had to turn up for the three points and that lacklustre attitude was replicated with the support they gave .

Didn't help that Watford brought half a dozen supporters but it was still a poor effort on our behalf .

Perfect Comments <ok>

I had to laugh at the half time 'special' offers at the refreshment stall i saw. the only thing special was the fact that they were hand written by a five year old on a wipe board. I think it was £3.20 for gravy and chips or similar

didn't see it, i was too busy playing 'guess the meat' on my pie. Jesus.

Its a problem all over the country, not just the KC.

True, the atmosphere has been crap at every "new" ground I've visited apart from Stoke. That disappoints me though. We're working class fans, like Stoke, we're unfashionable and we're under-valued. We should come together and support our club and our city ferociously.

And to defend new stadiums, the atmosphere at places like Peterborough, Sheff United, Sheff Weds and Forest was crap when I last went, in the home end anyway.

Well i've only visited stoke once i was sat in their end and it was nothing spectacular... i think since reserved seating etc came in its hard to get all of the singers in the same place so theyre spread out so the volume doesnt rise as much as it could if they were in the same area.

the away end at peterboro was very special, but for a different reason i think

Bright sunshine towards east stand, people shielding eyes from sun, hence no one singing

Talking of ATMOSPHERE, stick Sky Sport 1 on now, Brighton V West Ham if you want to know what home support and a cracking atmosphere sounds like !!!

Hats off to Brighton.

We're definitely not alone on this. Most grounds in the Championship aren't 'loud' anymore. I completely agree with the point about fans being complacent on Saturday though - before the game I was hearing ludicrous expectations like 3/4-0. So when we haven't had a decent attack within the first few moments of the game, stupidly, people become agitated and start to anticipate goals immediately.

Watford's dire support undeniably didn't help the atmosphere, but that doesn't account for people shouting 'forward' verociously from the terraces just 10 minutes into the game.

It'd be great if we could consistently create an atmosphere like the Cardiff game throughout the season, but it won't happen unfortunately.

I think it's because nobody cares any more. There's no connection with any of the players or management, they could just be any randomers you wouldn't recognise on the street. Since the big clear out it just doesn't feel the same club any more, for me at least, I doubt I'm the only one.
