Playing Donacien at LB is a mistake. Should be Penney or Clements there, they can at least deliver left footed crosses. Both Janoi and Kane struggled to help in attack from the left side. Burgess and Edmundson make the defence look more comfortable than when Nsiala plays.

Nah he’s a decent stopper but his distribution is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. We can do much better.
That result buys us some breathing space. it’s a point from a tough match in the circumstances. the team sheet has more questions than answers. Edward’s was useless. With two sitting mids the only outlet is the wings and he did nadda. let’s get the new man (or woman) in and see what their formation is then we can have a better idea what positions are up for change and who we have that might be redeployed to better effect. we can’t have ‘the best 10’ in the division plus Celina and 2 proven goal scorers at this level plus Bonne and be this **** forever…
Agree 100%,Norwood hassled, bullied and got into good positions. Oh and a goal too, what are they?! Edwards has been given masses of game time and glitters to deceive,no flatters...But no good at end of day in delivery time again. Bring back Celina out wide and hopefully Burns out right. I am beginning to see some light at end of a long tunnel. I do wish we didnt have so many mid-week games. Sunderland up next, and we steam off up north for another Weds night match.
