they dont conceded many and they score quite a few. they play well, as a team, have everything to play for being at the top end of the table and they're at home. its all the opposite case for us. which is a bad combo. 3-0 (if we're lucky).
Funny old game football, I think the players will be up for this game, and hopefully playing in their right positions. If we nick an early goal, then play our hearts out, we could hold on to a hard draw. But in the real world, the League leaders are probably going to score first, and then canter to a 3-0 victory.
Walton Donacien Edmundson Burgess Penney Aluko Morsy El mizouni Celina Bonne Nogood (not a fan but hear he has been knuckling down, so last chance saloon)
I like that Spanish, talented players in their right positions. I also wont be surprised to see Norwood back. We could do with a bustling, busy bruiser up front, who is one of the few players scoring goals at the club! Otherwise, Chaplin, who gets dropped for no obvious reason.
“Hmmm we can’t buy a goal. I know what I’ll do - leave our top scorer for the last two seasons training with the reserves.” When you look at it that way, Paul Cook’s time was up. Maybe it will spark something. Who knows, but you have to try!
I’d expect that 442 might hand Hampys prediction on a plate against an even slicker, fired up, Wigan 4231 than we suffered at Bolton, also a Cook inspired 4231. they’ve been drilled all season in 4231. If you scrap it and go away to a top team with a completely nee system hoping they’ll find footballing nirvana they could get massacred.
Well, the Pig starts, and Norwood on the bench. Burgess back in, but not happy with Donacien at LB, but otherwise more or less as one expected and in their all black strip for 1st time. Will they see each other and pick out those pinpoint passes today?
Right; that team sheet suggests El Spaniardo hasn’t quite got his wish but I’ve wanted to the pig in the Will Keane no10 role for weeks so I’ve invested 11 hard earned euros to watch this from behind the sofa…
