McGreal comes across very well in interviews, very open and honest but also quite positive and uplifting, don't think we've had a manager like that in a long time, probably since his last manager here Joe Royle, all the others you had the feeling were hiding something.

Also you can tell Leam Richardson was schooled by Cook, as he basically said pretty much the same things as Cook used to

Tbh, Wigan are nothing special, like Sunderland were nothing special. We are just too bloody powderpuff and have no inventiveness, it's all too methodical!!

So I’ve cashed out now on my Wigan to win each half for decent profit. Reason being as Spanish said, Wigan don’t look as good as I was expecting.

a quick flick through Twitter suggests they are without a lot of regulars, Wyke being an obvious example.

But we’ve got a lot to do to get anything here. They don’t look they know where to find each other and there’s a huge gap between midfield and strikers.

what’s interesting is Richardson has changed to442 too to suit the players he has available, rather than asking them to play a system they can’t. Not something cook ever seemed to do.

Long balls again, loss of possession again. KVY scared to run or pass forward, lack of midfield support for the strikers and no width. Can't see us scoring at the moment.

Donacien and KVY have swapped sides. I hope that means Janoi is more comfortable and will join in the attack more.
