Have I missed something, but what did the Joe Baxi driver do that was bravery? Genuine question, as he was apparently asked to take the bobble head to the Women’s hospital which he did, then the ****wit in the back triggered his device right outside the main doors. It must have been a **** device and possibly the driver had a screen that protected him from the worst of the blast and he got out. I’m not having a pop like, but I don’t quite get it. Please feel free to put me right.
The cab driver supposedly locked the doors to prevent the bomber from getting out.
Sounds like the device wasn't in control of the bomber, either.
Went off before they could get to either their primary target or the secondary one.
Traffic prevented getting to the Remembrance Day event, so they diverted to the hospital.
Either it was on a timer or someone else triggered it. Both prevent the bomber from bottling it.

The news report I saw said the passenger had asked to go to the Women’s hospital and the rear doors would be locked automatically, the driver releases. We’ll have to wait for it to all come out I suppose, seems odd all round to me.

If I'd known he had a bomb onboard as you say, there is no way I would take him to the hospital, I'd like to think I'd take him head on into something, something that would cause enough impact that he couldn't get out the car. It's always dodgy for anyone intent on harm, to use the public, because you don't know how they are going to react, so it was destined to fail from the off. Sounds very amateur, but I suspect most domestic terrorists are.

Like PNP mentioned I do wonder if the explosive was on a timer.

They've named the man who died in the explosion: 32-year-old Emad Al Swealmeen.
Also known as Enzo Almeni. Syrian born, lived in Iraq, converted to Christianity. Mental health issues.
Got nicked in 2014 for carrying a knife and got sectioned.

He's a dead man when he goes down for that.
Said it a while back in here, are these police cases uncommon or more common than we used to think.

Its like since couzins went down theres a new scandal weekly.

Bad fukin times when you cant trust the police force.

It's not the dream ticket to a better life in the UK
I just found it funny they added the "converted to Christianity" bit is all. <laugh>

Are they saying its a terrorist attack from a Christian?

If so thats even more funny<whistle>

I think it's probably more to do with the 'untouchable' culture in the Police force that has been blown out of the water since Couzins went down

Probably something thats always been going on but since it's flavour of the month to go hating on the police and say how corrupt our institutions are it's being reported on more.

would be interesting to see the stats before hand (if they are even available)

Did you see the Kyle Walker press conference where the journalist made a similar mistake?

Bernard Mendy, the retired player who's now a coach for PSG women?
That's opposed to Benjamin Mendy, who isn't a right-back and is in prison. <doh>
