If it's possible to find a middle ground between offering the council an olive branch, while at the same time taking the absolute p*ss out of of them, this statement is it.

What a dog's dinner. The club uses an agent to work with the council rather than negotiating themselves and then sits back for two years or more when they have heard nothing. Does that sound like an organisation who are on top of things? Hoos is also very duplicitous about fan ownership: H&F are clearly suggesting that the new ground be part owned by the fans/public rather than the club itself as he suggests. No individuals other than millionaires can consider ownership of a football club but the ground itself could be a profitable investment for a mass ownership group. Much as the man is highly rated inside QPR it sounds to me that Hoos has bolloxed it up big time.
Massive error by the club and Hoos in particular. He's never been highly rated by me.
As I read the Clubs statement on this it is the Council who are using the agent, not us.
The latest QPR podcast had Reuben on as a guest. He had a lot to say on this topic. In short:
- They have approached the council formally for a meeting to discuss LCS and other options
- They are thinking carefully about what they can do with the current site
- Moving has almost nothing to do with capacity and it's all about getting the venue used 100+ times a year instead of 30 times a year
- LCS currently looking unlikely but not totally ruled out

Nothing is going to happen for ages.
Mixed feelings. Love KPFS / LR but do appreciate the need for better commercial viability.
Concern that our relationship with te council is so bad that they won’t grant us planning permission to even marginal improvements to KPFS.
Think we are stuck with what we have got for the foreseeable. Hopefully with a couple of rail seating areas added.
Listened to this earlier - Ruben went on at length at how they might be able to do something at Loftus Road, maybe one stand at a time. Not sure how viable this is, but he said it would be a lot cheaper than building a new stadium from scratch, and they are actively looking at options as well as opening discussions with H&F
Noise on Twitter that Reuben wants to develop LR. Back of envelope calculation. There are 23 units on Ellerslie and average price appears to be £1.25m. So £28m before prices inflated cos if you live there you know the buyer is desperate. And that's before the Council refuse permission to knock them down.

There might be 23 houses but an average price of £1.25m would be the average price of a flat in that area and those houses are huge so could be up to 3 flats per house...... so I reckon the price would be a hell of a lot more than £28m..........
