But if true what you say then Bernard doesn’t know again when to stick or twist
I do remember greaves making a tackle way over on the right
Elder appeared to have two to mark.
Same with Emmanuel he was always unsure whether he should be pushing high up on their wing back or been a right back!
It was a **** show
The team showed they could play 3-5-2 against boro
While yesterday no one knew where any one else should be
There was still effort all over the pitch but just headless chickens

Exactly, this, I couldn't work out in the first half what system we were playing. Emmanuel seems to be playing right wing, but we weren't playing 3 at the back. It was baffling.

Did you read it all? **** that
I couldn't help myself Chazz. The blokes a prat.

"When doing my training in the army during drill, I was right marker...One day on the command of right turn, I turned left and marched smartly away from the rest of the squad".

A right marker would have turned left into the rest of the squad. No matter which way a squad is facing, the person at the far right, in the front rank is always the Right Marker.

Pedantic I know, but for ****s sake...

I really don't know where to start, the whole game was just a fiasco. No one looked as if they knew what they were doing or where they should play. It did improve a bit when McLoughlin came on, who incidentally looked quite okay. Cannon was awful, he just runs around a lot misplacing passes and getting caught in possession. The midfield was a shambles and they dictated most things in that area. Up front we just don't look like scoring, what do these forwards work on during the week, they certainly don't work on partnerships?

Nothing going to change until he's gone, hopefully, with finally the club coming out and confirming a takeover is in the process, then coming into the New Year we might have something to cheer us up. I just hope McCann and the Allam haven't left us in a dire position that we cannot get out of.

Just seen the goal back. The danger starts with Bernard storming out of position to try and tackle someone as usual while Emmanuel was already high up the wing, leaving the back four in a total mess. Greaves is pulled out to the right to cover and Smallwood tries to fill the gap in the centre but ends up playing Godden onside. Total mess. Can't wait for Jones to be fit again.
That is a good description of the goal. Terrible defending. There is no one within 5 yards of the goal scorer. And then Smallwood is a similar distance behind the rest of the defence. Barnard is also caught out storming forward shortly afterwards in the next 'highlight', so isn't learning and repeatedly throughout the game (though with three at the back, he has more of a licence). These errors are not just by small distances, they are huge. Absolutely shambolic defending from a professional team, who are able to practice all week.

<laugh>

Ben Lilley - Page Phil know somebody that was waiting for autographs before the match and asked smith if he was involved today and he said he didn’t know at the time until he got in two minutes later him and Williams left the ground looking very unhappy.
The lie was that you posted it was off Hull City Fans Forum on Facebook, when you knew full well it wasn't.
