I'm really not sold on Gray. I fear we'll be trading one bad apple (Kane) for another in Gray. Is he really going to be happy being behind Dykes and Austin? His recent record doesn't imply he's good enough to start ahead of them. Will he block Kelman's development? Isn't he a super expensive third choice? Those are my worries anyway. BUT Warburton and Ferdinand are doing the business very well at the moment, so who am I to question them. Just have a horrible feeling about this one.

We definitely need another striking option. If Warbinand think he's the answer, I'm happy enough.

Gray doesn’t seem the right fit based on our buying policies over the last season or so. He hasn’t impressed since moving to Watford in a big money deal and doesn’t come across as having the right attitude for this team. I don’t see us breaking our pay structure or ideals for a back-up striker either. Guess we’ll see whether the management and board get it right pretty quickly. Be a big shame if it impacts on the development of Kelman.

I don't know much about Gray, but have heard he is quick. I'm not sure we need another striker, would prefer a strengthening of the back 3 and/or defensive midfield. But pace is something we are missing, so if he does bring that even at 30, that will be a big plus. I trust in Warburton and Les too.

I thought MW said that players were with at least 3 times more as we near the end of transfer league. If my maths are right £12 x 3 = £36 mill which is more than what they got for their England ex keeper Ramsdale at £18 mill. PLus if he does go he has a relegation fight. Not sure I would jump ship.

Im also forgetting, with Kane leaving soon if rumours are to be believed we will be getting in millions and millions in for him so we don't need to sell.

how the hell is Ronaldo going to cope of a a weekly wage of £480,000.00
He is gonna have to set a budget....

I reckon he'll still score some vital goals.
Can only make them stronger imo.
I agree, and the sensible in the squad will appreciate his presence. But Greenwood, Rashford, Cavani, Martial, and Sancho are going to need some careful handling, because if he’s fit you really have to play Ronaldo, and judging by the Euros he won’t be doing much chasing back.

Bit of a Charlie Austin wannabe.

Ronaldo and a fit Rashford, either side of Greenwood.
