Watching this thread like a hawk :)

Given our 2021 form was top 3 stuff, if we tie down these loanees we could be play off contenders couldn't we?

If we could keep them and most of our own who done so well since January I think we could be play off contenders too. With Warburton we have managed to progress anyway both seasons, despite huge player turnover both summers, and low budget, so we could possibly be contenders anyway.

I'd hope after only one season Dickie and Dykes would want to stay. The players may even be optimistic for a promotion push next season and want to stay.

One for the future. Hope he comes good. Great to see the comments about Eze as an inspiration for joining our club. Important to remember that when we're sad to see players go - it attracts new talent if we're seen as a launch platform. As an old boss said to me, better to have great talent that leaves than bad talent that sticks around...

Or in our case the bad talent you pay to leave.

Did anyone else see the report of us wanting £15m for Chair? Apparently his contract runs until 2025 which is great.

I'd take the comments about Eze with a pinch of salt, considering the article was seen on the official site. Sometimes the club more or less gives the incoming players a script, because saying something like that will either make the fans feel better about the Eze sale or make future talent optimistic about coming. I'm not saying this is a bad thing.

I think, for once in the history of QPR, we should make signing good full-backs for both sides a priority.

I'd be happy for Wallace to stay another season, with a view to extending for yet another season if his legs don't go. But we need a quality player to compete for that position with him. Hamalainen doesn't seem to be what we're looking for.

But on the right, I feel like we need two players in. Kane... I hope he leaves the club, for various reasons. And Kakay... he's not so bad but we need some actual quality in that position.

If we did the above, we'd concede a hell of a lot less, if only for being able to keep possession and absorb pressure more. Teams that do well in the premier league are teams that can absorb pressure.

Alex Pritchard released by Huddersfield. Free agent

We have been after him awhile.
He is 28 though ,not our demographic)...and Johansen is better, if we can get him.

    What do we do

Yepp, €15 million in Belgian media saying English media were saying we'd demand at least that. Anderlecht and Bruges supposed to be interested in him, but too high a price for Anderlecht. Not sure if there is much truth in any of it.

QPR GOALKEEPER HAS ‘SPOKEN’ TO MOTHERWELL ABOUT POSSIBLE MOVE

QPR goalkeeper Liam Kelly is wanted by Motherwell again this summer, as per a report by the Daily Record.

The stopper has spent the second-half of the past season on loan with the Scottish Premiership outfit.

Graham Alexander’s side are keen to bring him back to Fir Park in some capacity for the next campaign and have ‘spoken’ to him about it.

Kelly, who is 25 years old, made 19 appearances for the Well but is heading back to QPR now.

Alexander has said: “We have spoken to QPR but it is early stages. They want to assess their squad, so there is no conclusion. They know of our interest and Liam’s ambition to come back here and play.

“He has enjoyed his time here but he is their player and has two years on his deal. There are a few hurdles to overcome from all sides before we can get that done but fingers crossed.”

He added: “He has had a massive impact since he has come in and he is a top player we want to keep as he will make us better.”

Kelly was given the green light to leave QPR in January having fallen behind Seny Dieng in the pecking order of the Championship club.

He joined the Hoops in June 2019 and still has two years left on his contract with Mark Warburton’s side.

Prior to his move to England, the ex-Scotland youth international had spells at Rangers and Livingston.

Motherwell are eager to bring him back to familiar surroundings this summer but QPR have a decision to make on his future. His future could depend on whether the R’s decide to keep soon-to-be out of contract goalkeeper Joe Lumley.
