Not that I believe a word of that story, but if/when Ralph leaves us Howe would be top of my list to replace him.
I think that's a Saints were interested before + Howe struggled up north previously + Mrs Howe wants to stay down south = 374 personally.
If we were already discussing potential Ralph replacements there'd be no point in keeping the bloke for the Summer.
