That ‘Triple Neimi’ is etched on my mind. As is the double save he did v Newcastle towards the end of the season I believe (both safe nothing to play for) and Shearer actually shook his head and applauded. Great keeper.
Still think though Shilton was better….
That Newcastle one was Alan Blayney iirc. Remember the Banks-esque save from Shearer.
Yep you are probably right…my mind is old . I deffo remember Shearer applauding.
