Looking more and more like this could be a rare season where 40 points is actually needed. 36 or 37 might well not be enough. Fulham, Newcastle, Brighton and Burnley are all roughly on that point-per-game average.

Of course, with WBA and Sheff sure to take up two places, it only takes one of those four to drop back and all of sudden 36 or 37 will be enough again.

Fulham have made it really interesting now, squeaky bum time for Newcastle and Brighton.

 

I hope Brighton go down as I would like about 5 of their players, I said the same about Norwich last season and we signed a grand total of 0 of them. They owe us as well for signing Redmond off them

Saints(A)
Newcastle(H) 6 pointer.
Man Utd(A)
Everton(H)
Chelsea(A)
Sheffield Utd(A)

Some tough games there.

Brighton game suddenly even bigger. Win and I’d say we’re all but safe. Lose and they’re only four behind us. All the while Fulham looking like they can pick up points in every game.
