Looking more and more like this could be a rare season where 40 points is actually needed. 36 or 37 might well not be enough. Fulham, Newcastle, Brighton and Burnley are all roughly on that point-per-game average.

Of course, with WBA and Sheff sure to take up two places, it only takes one of those four to drop back and all of sudden 36 or 37 will be enough again.
