Interestingly I thought Fraser gave it a wallop upfield more often than we have been recently, against SU. Almost led to a couple of chances too. It may be agricultural and old fashioned, but I don't mind it now and again!

I thought our primary tactic on Sat was long ball, and it was very effective. I’ve got no problem using it, against the right opposition. Actually makes perfect sense against teams playing a high back line.
Garth Crooks wants JWP to go to Liverpool, says there is no better replacement for Wijnaldum. Personally I don’t think he’s at that level. Smacks of the Schneiderlin to Man Utd affair. There must be a lot of managers drooling over JWP’s set pieces though.
And JWP's set pieces are much less of a necessity for Liverpool than most, because TAA is a rather good striker of a dead ball in his own right. If a big(gish) club came in for him, I'd imagine that it'd be more like an Arsenal. They've been miserable from set pieces this season, and presumably at some point they'll stop throwing Xhaka out there.
