Lots of individual things mate, if any of the lads like Prehab want to talk about them that's up to them. They've generally put the club at risk and looked after themselves. I've decided to draw a line under it now and have to admit I've been encouraged to take that stance by a bigger boy.

No problem, appreciate the need for drawing a line under it - and would never expect someone to put someone else at risk by giving away too much info.

I'm just glad we can hopefully all move on progressively. I do hope KLD and co really do **** SD & CM over - small fry to them and I'm certain they'll have had the reading of them straight away. Completely different levels.

Congratulations Alan Reed, you must have started the longest running thread in the history of Not606. Back in July 2020, you would have never thought a thread could reach 2103 pages (to date and I bet there's more to come). I can't believe what is happening to my football club, people ask me where I'm from and always say Sunderland, or even "Wonderland", we play in red and white Not black and white, a proper team which is down on their luck, but not any more!
Worth a re read from the start. Lol. Knowing it will a great ending.

The takeover is making noises round the European media. Last Wednesday I had an on-line lesson with six adult students, three of whom are interested in football - and one brought up the takeover. Just had a lesson now with an adult student interested in football - and he asked me about the takeover. Normally the Italian media wouldn't give a toss about a third division side in another country. Happy times

Thank you sir, I’m only too pleased it’s had a happy ending for us all.

Thats actually really interesting and positive.

That’s where interest sparks potential sponsorship and endorsements.

Nice.

I enjoyed that interview. Said what we all knew about the last owners. Love key words like "Takeover" and not shares, "fresh start". Class

Well done mate,I think that's the right decision.Let sleeping dogs lie. From what we've seen so far KLD and his colleagues have got their feet under the table and we can look forward to moving on from here. It'll probably all come out at some point in the future, but,as Van says..." Don't Look Back".
At long last,it looks like we've got something going for us here! I just can't wait for our first home game when we're allowed back....it'll be ****ing awesome!

I guess I can wait for your autobiography for all the sordid details. <cool>
I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I’m now convinced about SD being outed as a nasty greedy little man.
I don’t think Kyril mis-spoke when he mentioned asset stripping. It was intended as a sue me if you dare comment.
For what it’s worth, I think Kyril’s here for the long run and will get us back into the prem.
Exciting times!

Sunderland are exploring the prospect of signing Wolves defender Dion Sanderson permanently at the end of the season... after string of impressive displays on loan at the Stadium of Light

fingers crossed, hopefully he has seen the new potential at the club and realises he can learn his trade here and could soon be back in the premier, easily make the steps up as we move again.

Would like to see what the courts made of such a thing.

Don't think it would get very far to be honest. Asset stripping is exactly what it was.

The clocks were probably all showing a different time because Donald sold the batteries.

So happy KLD came straight out and said it to be honest. No blowing smoke up the outgoing owners arse. Brilliant!

This is the type of player we should be targeting for long-term success imo. Yes he won't be cheap but the lad is quality with huge potential

We could have a chance of signing him if we get promoted, think it could be really difficult if we stay in League 1 as he'll have better offers from other clubs. Hopefully he's enjoying his football, the club is getting under his skin and we can make it worth his while.

I must say he has that quality look about him when he's on the ball. Can't ever put my finger on it exactly but it's there in abundance. It's a different level of control, a different way of manipulating the ball, smooth movement, graceful even. Calmness and accuracy in the tackle, knowing that you will be in the right place etc. He could go far if its managed correctly.

Yeah notice he didn't say, "they did a great job cutting costs by stopping unnecessary spending, they save x amount in some plants really amazing, they saved this club"

Asset stripped. The pitch wasn't even being cared for properly for **** sake. I mean if that isn't essential what is?

What was next from him? Did it get to the point players had to bring a bait box or starve or was that the next money saving brilliance? How about all staff were only allowed to flush the big at the end of the day, someone been before you? Who doesn't love poo jenga?

You're wise not to say too much mate.

As you know there's some horrendous things bave gone on and it's of no further benefit for people to know. It would just cause more bad feeling and create an air of suspicion around people remaining at the club. The new people need to feel they can trust everyone not to be feeding out information.

It's just satisfying for those 'insiders' to know what they've previously leaked has helped bring Donald and Methven down. But, as you also know, the people who did the most damage to their aims were themselves.

Time to look forward and wash our hands of them ...

.... just my opinion.
A very well put opinion though!
