You know what, I love when this kid talks.

He hasn’t bought a football club, he’s bought Sunderland.

Its clear he sees all the failing areas, all the damage that needs repaired, he sees the potential, yeah but he sees the work.

The lad is very impressive, seems very smart, and seems utterly zoned in on what he’s going to do.

Its ****ing heartwarming after several years of absolute torment.

Can you quite believe all this is happening? That interview was a work of genius. Cool, calm, calculated and not in his native tongue. To calmly cut down the chuckle threesome in one sentence was superb and told the fans exactly what they needed to hear. I don’t think he is going to be one for multiple podcasts and drinking with the fans but I think we may have a good one here and he is only 23. Maybe my little 2 year old daughter will grow up without the heartache we have had following our team.

That interview gave me hope and that’s all I need. He came across calm and controlled, but with a bit of steel ready to come out if needed. The asset stripping comment was perfectly executed.

If he carries on the way he is going now he will need the extension on the ground sooner than he thought.

I’m sick of him being called a kid, stop it, I was DJing in the arena down boro at 19/20 I still made you all dance

Think he'll have someone reading the forums checking out what the fans are saying and what we would like to make the whole club experience (at the game and online) better. Might even get a new website!
