True, you can't beat decent fish and chips. Or even pie chips and gravy (while wearing a flat cap obvs).

Pizza is higher up as the kids all eat it so it's the one thing we'll all sit and eat together takeaway wise. Bar chippy.

They're still at that age where at least one won't even try something like Thai, Indian or Chinese.

Chippy is No.1 for me always. Bad Chippy beats most good takeaways.

cod/haddock, chips mushy peas and curry sauce. Loads of vinegar, not that fussed on salt(no kidney friendly)

Maybe a slice of bread if at home with some lurpack.

Curry would be my No1 takeaway.

I like those dry Northern Indian, Nepalese dishes that are more Tandoor based, rather than creamy coconut curry bases.

Keema nan is a must too.

Didn't realise you were a fan, like a bit of Chick Corea myself.

Yeah man. Gutted to hear that he died. I posted a link on the playlist thread. Giles Peterson tribute, well worth a listen. <ok>

Not you Comm

dry curries throughout the world are all just that, dry. not for me.

I like a Balti and Bhuna dish, thick sauces, as long as there's plenty of meat and onions etc. Can't stand those dishes that are just sloppy sauce and **** all else.

Been lucky enough to travel with work twice to India.
Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhopal, Delhi and
Agra. In the main it was shot hotel food. But visited a customer factory and had lunch, **** me it was the best meal I had in 10 days.

second time I made sure we ate outside of hotels.

Best food when travelling is always the street vendors and little back street cafes <ok>
