had some corn fritters in a road stop/services. Were amazing. was always forced to have meat dishes in hotels. I wanted to be eating out and having veggie. I did however sample a chicken marharajha Mac. Stunning.
im more worried of getting ****s in a hotel than some street food/cheap eatery. They have more to lose/less margin so can’t make ****e food.
In Morocco you can get a Tagine cooked up by some dude who's got a small charcoal burner on a street corner. Goat Tagine with loads of veggies and sweet sultanas. Costs about £2. Some of the finest eating you'll ever do.
I've always (when away) eaten at smaller places. Spent a short time doing some Thai cooking course, getting laughed at...Took a great interest in how they did things,, And just how quick they knock up a dish...it takes me a lot longer, what will all the fannying about etc.
I dunno what it is but I like it for the presentation. Nice plate too considering it's not white. Ill let this one go.
