haddock n chips a bap and some mushy peas, occasionally curry sauce. The place I go to make some spicy Chinese curry sauce, very tasty. loads of salt n vinegar in a box please
was just thinking about that one. chippy curry sauce v chinese curry sauce. Oh and hoy in a load of batter, scraps some call it.
Chippy is No.1 for me always. Bad Chippy beats most good takeaways. cod/haddock, chips mushy peas and curry sauce. Loads of vinegar, not that fussed on salt(no kidney friendly) Maybe a slice of bread if at home with some lurpack.
Curry would be my No1 takeaway. I like those dry Northern Indian, Nepalese dishes that are more Tandoor based, rather than creamy coconut curry bases. Keema nan is a must too.
Yeah as opposed to mild coconut sauce type of dish. Cooked in onions, spices, peppers. Prefer dishes cooked in a Tandoor.
Yeah man. Gutted to hear that he died. I posted a link on the playlist thread. Giles Peterson tribute, well worth a listen. Not you Comm
I like a Balti and Bhuna dish, thick sauces, as long as there's plenty of meat and onions etc. Can't stand those dishes that are just sloppy sauce and **** all else.
Cod the fish of choice. Will have a curry sauce on the side rather than mushy peas as well, but only for dipping the chips. Love a decent pie, chips and gravy too.
Been lucky enough to travel with work twice to India. Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhopal, Delhi and Agra. In the main it was shot hotel food. But visited a customer factory and had lunch, **** me it was the best meal I had in 10 days. second time I made sure we ate outside of hotels.
