The penny is beginning to drop. The owners don't want promotion, because the cost needed to be competitive in the championship will be too much to bear. Rehab won't be putting his hand in his pocket anytime soon.
Terry's going nowhere.
Realistically how many of the current squad are championship players? Allams would need substantial investment to get such a squad together. Meanwhile they can contunue to milk the club

Doc, KLP, Greaves, Reece, Wilks, Elder, Emmanuel....

Investment needed, but in the most expensive part of the team.....

As much as I detest them as owners of our club, I dont for one minute think that's the case. Rehab is just deluded, stubborn and arrogant and McCant is useless.

Why do people like posts like this? It’s utter garbage
If they didn’t want promotion why bring in Whyte and Crowley
Ridiculous

Ever wondered why these players have landed here?
A clue. They are not good enough to get into their parents clubs 1st teams, or the bench!
If Crowley can't get into the Brum team, a club, that may be L1 next season, he must be good!

There's a lot of focus on tactics, but for league one you don't need multiple systems and astute managerial genius. We just need 2 solid players in each position, to be up for it and consistent. Man management is my concern here, not systems, subs etc.

Grant should have gone last season but whilst we're in touch with automatics I'd not roll the dice.... Yet.

But I do feel he's limited, and the mark of a manager is how he turns around a setback. Couldn't do it from January last year, and it'll be the test of his career to get things back on track now.

He has the squad.
I'd roll a four-sided dice!

Paul Cook or the Cowley’s would be my preference. We just need to write off McCann and start again.

Cook got Wigan flying last season despite the backdrop of misery.
