Touting is part and parcel of every day football and to be expected by an agent/representative when contract talks are on the horizon, but blatantly going against a player's wishes to go out and take offers to his current club over his head is just out of order

Depends. Player could be saying one thing to the club/teammates and another to the agent. Unlikely though.

It'd be interesting to know how long KLP's agency agreement lasts. Would explain a lot if it was due to end before the proposed contract does, thus denying the parasi.... erm, agent a big payday.

I'm speculating, but I'd love to know.

He very well could be, but as your say, I doubt it. this kind of situation for the lad and any lad of his age must be really ****, he should be enjoying the start of an hopefully amazing career, learning his trade, growing in confidence and being relatively care free young lad living most lads dream.... Not being stuck in limbo and probably not feeling great about it all.

That's usually my condition when I've been invited to go sailing. :emoticon-0100-smile
If you're gonna "Chunder in the ol' Pacific Sea" anyway, might as well make it worth it.

Might be tapping you up for boat recommendations in a few months. Looking for a bilge keeled cruiser for pottering about the NE coast (drying harbours) that can be sailed single handed but accommodate me and my 3 teens for a weekend.

Colvic 26, jaguar 27 or similar....

Not exactly transfers, but looking for advice on the above. Pm me if you can help.

I wouldn't be much help I'm afraid. I just hover around Nice & Monte Carlo harbours and let the Abramovich types spend the money. Cannes a jolly spot, but I'm no Jolly Roger type, despite my old man being a nautical type (RIP pa.)

Blackmail, what a ****ing surprise

But nah, it's not the Allams lads. They're sound. It's definitely the agent.

Its no different to what Grant said in recent pressers, if he don't sign, we're bringing somebody in. Whoever came in was always going to take some of KLPs minutes.

The bright side is that, it gives us more money to sign a centre fotward

Another twisting of a more nuanced perspective.

Who said the 'Allam lads' were sound? No-one said that, only that the monopoly on ****ery isn't solely held by Allam.

He's just saying what he's hearing from a) trusted source(s) and b) the club.
He's a journo doing his job.
What's wrong with that?
Say nothing? Give only one side of what he's hearing?
Hopefully he signs today and we can all move on!

If all of the above is true, then good. But why are the club putting so much pressure on a very promising young player?

If KLP does sign, who would be surprised if he comes back and that spark is gone?

Smacks of Ehab and his ingrowing penis this.

I agree. It really doesn’t reflect well on the club.

Young yes, but at face value the most naturally gifted goal scorer we have on our books, yet he's not starting games!! Ehab and Terry take a bow. Whatever the circumstances this doesn't do anybody any favours, least of all the club who yet again on Saturday missed a host of chances

The longer the contract the bigger the transfer fee, is my take on it, its Ehab counting the Pound note's .
