Keane Lewis-Potter is on the verge of agreeing a new contract at Hull City after a breakthrough in prolonged contract talks with the club’s owners, in what will be a timely boost to the Tigers' hopes of securing promotion back to the Championship.
It’s understood City’s 19-year-old star will sign fresh terms which see the teenager remain at the club until the summer of 2022 before the Tigers return to action on Tuesday evening.
We've made the BBC transfer news for the first time in about six years.
It must be a sign from above!!
They've just amended the article, it now says...

Finally thank F***.
Gonna need something new to argue over .
Matchday thread should do it
Remind me, is that the term he wanted?
Dare I suggest the club(owners) take some credit from what's been a very good transfer window so far. When the club was up for sale after our first venture into the premier league, no one was coming forward and I think most of us would be delighted with where we are now. I just wish I could get to the matches and get behind the team
I dont think many thought we would be in the Top 2 in January !
Obvs it's a very strong position and maybe they can push on now the KLP situation is resolved .
PS A bit more practise defending set pieces would be a welcome addition
He wanted two years, that’s the basic with an option of an extra year. The option was the issue.
It's fine to give credit where its due, not sure about KLP's agent, I want to see good Hull talent stay in a resurgent City team back in the Championship next season, how could his agent tout him any higher than that absolute dream?
Aye he’s won the lottery just been born in Hull
Out else is a bonus
Or a new Rugby League thread? that would easily do it.
Oi QC, you just stick to your curry on fish&chips yes or no, ta...
