Just want to wish everyone on Not 606, especially, Smug, Prehab, Magnus, Weatsheaf, and all ITK's A very merry Christmas, and a much better New Year than this one, stay healthy and safe. The take over will happen when it happens. This thread has been so entertaining with all the facts (and none facts), have had a few laughs at some of the things people post. Commiserations to anyone who has lost someone to this virus, all I can say, time makes it easier.

With the recent rumours of share % changing and KD/Sartori now going to split 75/25 as opposed to 50/50, I couldn't work out what was in it for Sartori as his overall stake would still be 20% of the club, the same as what he has now. Obviously it would mean he shouldn't have to pay anything now but why go to the bother of siding with KD if no overall increase?
But, I'm now thinking, has the other change been that KD was originally going to be purchasing more of Donald's shares at a later date but with wanting them now Sartori has agreed to stay as is now but it'll be him that takes Donald's shares at a later date. That way Sartori will increase his overall shareholding, just later than envisaged, it allows Donald to maintain what he wants to keep now but more importantly, it removes a barrier so KD gets his overall control straightaway?

Do we know if they are retaining an interest in the club going forward after takeover? ie keeping loan in place.

The info I've had is minimal mate. I posted many months ago that Fuhrman was happy to entertain a discussion with Sartori. All I've had, since then, is that FPP haven't been paid off and may not be. With Dreyfus involved their investment is safer even if their option of receiving the club for the cost of a defaulted loan lessens.
They put the money in for two reasons. Firstly as a risk free shot at picking up the club for peanuts and secondly for a long term gain if we made it to the PL. There's no reason option B has changed in any way so they may choose to stay involved.
However, if Dreyfus wants total control he may wish to pay them off which, I believe, they'd have to accept.

Ursula's cv is interesting, speaks 3 languages fluently, is a qualified economist and physician. Has had 7 children! So well used to managing unruly brats, like Bonko and Duncan.
It was amusing when Bonko met her a few weeks ago, very straightforwardly she scolded Bonko, telling him where to stand and when to take his mask off.. he listened and obeyed meekly! I suppose that is a result of having strict nanny's when young?
Macron, who effectively married his mum.. is also being told what to do by Ursula and the German Chancellor
