Even then he neglected the fact a quite a bit of it had been put back in. Bit like the "Sartori bought his shares for 1 pound" crap. Whilst on paper it's true it was followed with a 3 million cash injection but some people don't like the truth getting in the way of a witch hunt
Exactly.

There was nothing professional about the way he carried out his investigative journalism.

Hoying out clickbait on social media with little to back it up is asking for trouble.

Squealing like a bairn when Stewart Donald reacted on Twitter didn’t exactly enhance his credibility.

Every time I go onto the SAFC website, the first thing I see is ‘Club Statement’ and my heart skips a beat.

Then I see the next line, ‘Covid 19 update’.

Ah bollix.

If it's any help mate I've just been snapped at for asking follow up questions about an announcement ...

... 'Be patient ffs' to paraphrase.

Bloody frustrating though isn't it.

Digging up the dirt on parachute payments etc was good, but he lost his cool and his focus.

Grumpy Old Man might not be the life and soul of the party, but I know who’d I’d trust to do my accounts or report on SAFC.
I've never met GOM in real life (at least I think so, but I used to drink in the Deaf club before the match so I might off), but my impression of him online is that he's a top bloke.

I'd call him a very good friend and he's a great laugh at the matches despite his appearance on the forums ...

... he's straight as a die and won't post a single thing he doesn't believe.

You can trust him above anyone imo.

I think he does. I know GOM pulled him up a few times in the past about him twisting things to suit his agenda.

He's an agenda pusher. It's not to say he's wrong in principle about Methane and Donald, but he's definitely pushing his point and goes for the most negative thing to bash them with. The thing is, if he keeps shouting about things like the bail out money, with out the proper context, people will pick it up and believe it. Which only stirs more trouble and will cause more division between fans as any one not agreeing with his view would be accused by some of being a Donald toady.
I don't know Chris but know 3 or 4 people who do. By all accounts he is a clever enough lad but gets fixated on things and works at them to prove he is correct. Almost obsessive. Left a good job to write the book on Ellis Short. He's entitled to his opinion as we all are. Personally i'll make my own mind up after considering as opinions, he seems to think he is always correct about SAFC even if offered alternative views.

When they modernised the deaf club circa2000 I was one of the new members
Don’t use it now
