Have the club even announced who is in charge for tomorrow's game yet? Other day Taylor said he didn't know if he would be in charge for Saturdays game and I've not seen any announcements that says who is in charge tomorrow. It seems a shambles to be honest.

Gotta say, one of the things that has made me the most livid through this whole process has been the suggestion that Parkinson knew he was getting sacked long before he was sacked. He looked like he didn't care any more, and it's clear he didn't.

Telling him he was getting sacked before doing it, is so negligent, unprofessional and frankly idiotic its untrue.

When a manager starts making excuses like he did you know he knows....I noticed first the odd 2 up front a few weeks ago then these excuses, made me think he has been shaken and is going against his MO. You only fo that in last chance saloon. I asked a few times on here if the ITK knew but no answer. However my instincts on the ol grey matter right again

Good to see we are moving fast for a new manager with nothing lined up and 2 games now wasted on top of the games Parky didnt bother before he was sacked.
I think it was because they thought it was gonna be poyet, when he knocked us back it took them by surprise. What we’re seeing now is the employer doing the right thing and taking their time and making sure that they get the right appointment

I think he looks like an excellent prospect but I don't see much difference between him and certain young British managers who've worked their way up, Bordeaux aside perhaps.
That's not to say I wouldn't want him. I'm just expecting the same criticisms to be levelled at him.
Very true. I guess it’s how you compare the French top division to the English second/third division. He’s managed in a too European division and seems to still be at the beginning of his career so on an upward trajectory. Compared to Johnson who has never risen out of the second division, same with Cowley and Cook. It’s difficult. I think we are a lot harsher on English league managers as well because we are more familiar with them. Perhaps Jocelyn would be a failure, or a success. I just think people would be less critical of him immediately because he is more unknown, and mysterious.

His second spell at Guingamp doesn't seem to have gone particularly well. But, yes, he might get more time because he's less well known. I certainly hope so. He's the sort of appointment to get excited about to my way of thinking.
