I would prefer that they spent this money on young talent that can be used as a foundation for years to come and this is where the overall strategy with regards the academy and who runs this is the most important decision that is made.

The treatment of the academy prospects is the single reason why SD and cronies should be hounded out of the club, they have sold a crop of young talent coming through whom we could have built a team around for a number of years.

Better judges me will confirm that this group was the best that was coming through the academy in not only quality and volume for a long long time.

Lets just hope that now that the news is out we can have this formally announced and everyone from players/staff/supporters know exactly where we all stand.

Id imagine we take a handful of promising under21 players from Marseilles in January on loan to fire us to the championship

Think it was Marseilles that gazumped us with Benjamin Mendy wasn't it? Short flew him over in a jet to sign then he just went to Marseilles at the 11th hour

Steward Donald is a sleeping shareholder no influence. Major plans incoming...the future is very bright...these guys are very serious needs us all to get behind.

I can't tell you how excited I am...things are going to change for the better...what any doubters say...this is a new dawn for SAFC.

Couldn’t get on to post last night but delighted with this genuinely excited to see the details and plans
I’m a little disappointed that Donald and Methven will still have a minority stake but I can live with it..
