Long term plan I seem to remember, it was brought in to stop what happened to Bury and nearly Bolton.
You know.....I cant help but think that all he wants to do is play Football Manager with us in reality! Must be ****ing brilliant!
I'm sure someone said that Sartori and Furman has discussed joining forces in a takeover which was well received by Furman. Perhaps Furman will still retain an interest.
Like everybody else, been kicked in the balls loads of times following this club but with the club under these 2 ****wits has taken me to a new low. I still watch the matches, get pissed off when we lose but there's a difference now to what it was. Once all the details are announced and I can take it all in, hopefully I'll fully realise what this will do for the club. But thanks for your concern, it means a lot
I can live with Donald retaining a stake, however I'll never set foot in the SoL whilst Jim Rodwell is still there. He's shown himself as an arrogant yes man with absolutely no regard for the fans. My hope is that there's a clear out of Donald's cronies and his only say at the is as of a minority shareholder.
I'm intrigued to find out who the 'football' man is. Surely they'll have that role ready to fill. Either a new manager or DOF, but I think I'd guess at the latter. That must be a key position. Proper excited now like. Even the cheap wine last night hasn't dampened my spirits. 8 dogs to walk, then might start again
I posted that in August which the doom merchants conveniently ignored. "My only definite info is that Fuhrman's camp hasn't rejected the idea of working with other people including Sartori. They've also decided the club can't keep stagnating so need to make a move. Hopefully a takeover but, at worst, bringing in better people and investing."
The hope here is that Fuhrman is one of the three in the consortium, and that his place on the ticket has been reached as some sort of pay off for the loan. It would back up @Smug in Boots snippets from the last few months of Fuhrman wanting a resolution and was happy to work with Sartori and others. Worth pointing out that @Magnus ’s original trio were Fuhrman, Sartori and Rybolovlev. It could well be that whoever was passing that info was unaware of who the third player was and just assumed as it was someone based in France that it would be Rybolovlev. You then combine that with the recent news of Donald and Methven both digging their heels in to retain a stake. When that compromise was reached was possibly when @Prehab26 was slightly disappointed it wasn’t the full blown fresh start? Then once all finalised they set a date of 10th November but that slipped for administrative reasons as heard by @Wheatsheaf Basically that’s a guessed summary of events which would explain all of @Smug in Boots , @Prehab26 , @Magnus and @Wheatsheaf ’s snippets. It even aligns with what Nixon posted back in August, and what Barnes said in September.
Im not going to mention the name that everybody has spoken about Because Most people are sick of hearing his name mentioned
Arsene Wenger is looking for a new project apparently , he always had a very high regard for SAFC supporters or am I getting carried away . Would love to think he could be attracted to being our Director of Football, I would suggest he knows what would be required . Dear Santa xxx
I'd normally pm you mate, but this is all leaking out now. My question is, have you had anything mentioned regarding future sponsors and stadium naming rights. I've been told to 'watch this space' and that it could ruffle a few feathers ... ... the word my 'friend' keeps using is 'circumvent'
Good summary, fella. The wood has become much clearer. A bit more chopping, some building and we'll get outta this league.
