I have more tolerance, and more forgiveness, but no where near enough of that.
I forgive you

I have more tolerance, and more forgiveness, but no where near enough of that.

No one asked, yet who said anything about football being a priority? It strike me some people on here make **** up to make their version more plausible. Again, people dont get the facts before being overtly critical of others if they didn’t vote.
It is more funny that the vast majority of “views” on here are from the people that lost out in the vote, as things didn’t go their way. Shame, if they approached discussions with a clear mind, without prejudicing the outcome of discussions, perhaps we could all learn more.
I’d have thought we get more rounded, tolerant and forgiving with age. Some perhaps do, others maybe have more venom in them - possible a result of how they lived their lives in the preceding years.
I’ve certainly got more rounded with age. Not sure about tolerant or forgiving though.
Watch out, Billy - in your reply to me you said that everyone was entitled to a view and then you say that in another reply. SLS wasn't necessarily having a go at you - I think he makes a fair point, as I know people who seem to have stats of various sports at their fingertips and yet couldn't be bothered to investigate for themselves the truth behind the Referendum and have accused me of being "a traitor" (the worst) to "Chicken Licken" or a "Doommonger" (probably the best) because of my views.
The sad thing is that it's taken this (when, to be honest, the issue of the EU was of little importance more than 5 years ago) to completely divide the country, open it up to racists who know feel free to wave nazi-style flags and do the Hitler salute in public, plus rough up anyone who dares say anything against them and, in my view, completely **** it up for the next generation.
Sad that so many people couldn't be bothered (not having a go at you) to vote on what was most probably the biggest event to ever happen politically to this country because "it'll all be ok" - it' ALWAYS the extremists who vote and not the moderates who just sit back and let life go on until it's too late.
I guess, as you don't vote, you can't really complain about any outcome (which is what I'll say to anyone who doesn't vote - my Dad taught me that the right to vote was the greatest civil liberty anyone can have and to not take that option, is, quite frankly, staggering - but that's something between you and your conscience)
My own view is that 99% of people just want a fair and decent society with as little hardship as possible, a safety net for people in real difficulty and a decent health service, plus people who pay their fair bit in taxes to pay for it. Sadly, this is not the situation we're now in and it can only get worse before it gets better
I've got a lot more rounded ............. but I'm getting mighty close to being a militant when I read more about what's going on ...................

I’m not sure the products at Aldi and Lidl could eat much worse than they already are. M&S do a great range of fresh produce and I think they, as well as Aldi and Lidl, have prepared in advance as their UK business kind of depends on it. It isnt like people haven’t been aware of the elephant in the room.
Do you not think that we can get products from other places, or dare i say it, produce our own? I thought we used to be quite effective in doing that many years ago.
I didn’t vote either way for Brexit, but i do feel where one door closes, others open, whilst others just complain about the colour of the door, why there was a door in the first place and who was to blame for shutting the door in the first place.
Two cops shot in Compton, America, at close range.
Then black lives matter protestors blocked them from getting to hospital chanting 'we hope they die'.
According to the whistleblower complaint, Deputy Vega, who shot Guardado six times in the back, was “chasing ink” — a term used to describe efforts to impress the Executioners in order to be drafted into their ranks and obtain their signature tattoo: a skeleton backed by flames, brandishing a rifle and wearing a Nazi-style helmet.
Part of what makes this dynamic notable is how ordinary it is. Though the central allegation is that the Executioners “dominate” the Compton sheriff’s office, at least nine other such gangs are known to operate across the department, and have done so for decades. “Vikings, Reapers, Regulators, Little Devils, Cowboys, 2000 Boys and 3000 Boys, Jump Out Boys, and most recently the Banditos and the Executioners,” Matthew Burson, chief of the department’s professional standard division, told KABC last month of the LASD’s gang problem. “I am absolutely sickened by the mere allegation of any deputy hiding behind their badges to hurt anyone.” Sheriff Alex Villanueva has said he intends to fire or suspend more than two dozen deputies involved in a widely covered assault on four non-gang members at an off-duty party in 2018.
Now even Cameron condemning the government's intended action. By my calculations the only living PM not to do so is Gordon Brown, and I think that we can be pretty sure what his thoughts are.
Any truth in this claim? Claim is that Johnson has a new mistress. Russian no less.

This is a lie.
No one blocked them from getting to the hospital. No one blocked emergency vehicles of any sort. There is video, it was less than 10 idiots standing on the sidewalk. It's also very much unclear that these were "Black Lives Matter protesters"...judging by the flags, there's a decent chance they were Hoteps. Hoteps are wild, and they aren't BLM.
The police is currently using a version of events unsupported by facts because immediately thereafter, they beat up and arrested a female reporter. They lied about that, too.
From the reporter:

Whole thread here:
You must log in or register to see media
And video from another reporter of them throwing the above reporter around like a rag doll for doing her job: Note that they claimed that she never identified herself as a reporter at the time: she is literally repeating "I'm with KPCC" (local NPR station) over and over.
You must log in or register to see media
At some point, are you going to perhaps question the version of events being fed by the police? They lie. Over and over and over, they lie. They lie when there is video of their lies. Because they want to do whatever they want to do, and will say whatever is necessary to give themselves cover to do so. The only institution the police in the United States regularly protect and serve is themselves.
Whilst you may have a point regarding the US Democratic party, shouldn't your anger and most severe criticism be directed towards the perpetrator of all this, Trump????There is a video, of someone casually walking up to a police car and shooting into it.
This is a direct symptom of blaming and politisicing the whole police force in the manner that you guys are.
The correct answer is stop stoking up so much emotion in people, carry out full and thorough investigations into what is wrong with the police forces and arrest/charge the bad apples. This can be done. The police are necessary in any society, and demonising them completely to this extent is ridiculous.
Instead, we have had the Democratic party jumping on the 'all police are evil' bandwagon for political gain, and its making everyhing even worse. No matter how corrupt the police force is, the words of the media and politicians are causing cops to be shot in Broad daylight, just for being cops. You have to stand back and admit that there is something very wrong in how you are conducting yourself if you feel that that is in any way normal/good.
