From what I have heard, which I have passed onto esteemed people on this board, Prehab was spot on. I messaged people on here early in the week. This was after having a few beers with Prehab and had his complete permission. Now Barnes confirms the same. That's enough for me and should be for others, that it's very much systems go.
All positive, but as we know from this time last year when Barnes was confidently saying completion announcement was 2/3 days away it ain't over till it's over.
Need an update.. Just got in.. So do we think its FPP with Juan and his father in law?

Yep, it's pathetic seeing some still calling him out over the road (well, one poster in particular calling him out). He's been consistent throughout and had told me in a PM about where he thought we were at, and it's been pretty much confirmed by Barnes. Even when I heard that we were a lot less progressed than he thought he was adamant that his info was accurate, which it now seems to be. Just need to hope there's none of the last minute hitches that Donald seems to specialise in!
we just have to hope prehab and Barnes don’t have the same source and whoever those sources are are right
You'd think he was getting paid for sticking his neck out and posting things ...
... or even worse sitting there making up stories to deliberately mislead people.
Not sure what Stories crack is in all of this but when it's all said and done I do believe someone will say out loud to some unsuspecting member of the board, "Storey was Keyser Soze"!!!
Jokes aside, I just hope if we are sold, that the new owners, whomever they may be really buy into the area. I said before that with development around the city, transport links, ports its all here, just waiting. Owners now, came, said the right things and I do believe they tried, but unfortunately they bought a 500 quid car, planned to put some new wheels on it to sell for 2 grand....... didn't work, wheels fell off.
Jokes aside, I just hope if we are sold, that the new owners, whomever they may be really buy into the area. Well things have moved on apace here mind!
Here's me grafting away all day and come in and have a look on here to see all this. Now, even for those of us whose hair is either long gone or grey, (bit of both here!), and for whom pessimism about football can easily assert itself at anytime, it is hard not to see promise here. Let's wait for the drying ink and all that, but maybe we are on for that break that never comes our way.
If it doesn't happen, for whatever reason, we'll all survive. If it is all some sort of elaborate wind up, then full congratulations to the winders; you have played a blinder! Whatever happens though, well done to those who have honestly shared what they have heard, right or wrong, complete or incomplete, positive or negative. That's what these places are for really.
Here's hoping then, It's Saturday night so I'd be having a few beers anyway, but tonight I'll allow them to taste that bit better.
