Why m8? Real question here, what advantage would sd get by feeding Barnes info on a takeover? What does he gain? I get he's a bullshitter etc but why? Oh and the one thing I know for certain, cos I've heard it with my own ears from the chap himself, he hasn't spoken to Donald since the interview a month ago, so up til yesterday at least I know sd isn't briefing him, I don't know who is btw, but I know it's not direct from sd.
I don't know what Donald would get out of stringing the fans along though, imagine the rage if it turned out he was trolling everyone for no good reason. Surely if there were no buyers he'd be better off saying that and managing expectations.
