Buzzing with that lines up with what Ive been told
Summary from Barnes:
- talks ongoing, delayed slightly due to COVID scenario modelling
- new target date is end of month but remaining hurdles are expected to be dealt with easily
- the EFL to be approached very shortly to begin that work.
If that’s all true - it sounds very advanced. Wouldn’t get that far without agreeing a price.

It’s been all agreed in principle
barnes sounded very confident all remaining hurdles will be dealt with quite easily now

My only fear is that if you add Barnes’ update to Storey’s update, you could very easily summise that Storey IS involved and this week is when the final hurdles will be cleared of EFL informed.
Storey clearly hasn’t signed an NDA or entered a period of exclusivity so I’m ruling him out on that factual basis
When Barnes first broke the period of exclusivity news he did say Storey wasn’t involved at all, and people from Roker Report have also said he’s not being considered mate so hopefully he’s nowhere near, got to keep everything crossed
I bet some of the flat earthers will still say it’s not happening
I think its more likely storey made his tweet after seeing what Barnes has said and tried to get ahead of it
we don’t know that he hasn’t signed a period of exclusivity. And NDA’s are completely customisable to allow you to reveal as much as agreed (for instance his involvement).
It’s of course extremely extremely unlikely but I don’t see anything factual to show us Storey isn’t the buyer, or involved.
He would be in breach surely, I believe 100% he has some kind of offer on the table but I don’t for one minute think he has been involved in what barnsey or Magnus or smug are eluding to as it is being done properly not on stage with a look at me and my beard full of crabs
