So Nimer/Southall have put sweet FA into the club, in fact, they've fleeced it to the bare bones.
They managed to con Elliott into spending his money and keeping Charlton afloat for the last 4 months giving him the impression he has bought the club.

Am I missing something here?
How is Elliott the villain in all this?

It's not his money he's been spending.
It's loan shark money he was hoping to get the Club to pay back once he owns it, by selling players.
Elliott is a small time chancer way out of his depth, and owing big money to some less than lovable people.
The EFL really screwed his pooch by failing him as an acceptable owner/director.
What a pity.

Once TS takes over, we'll be coming for you :emoticon-0165-muscl

(Apparantly)It's not Elliott's dough, by all accounts he's the front man for a geezer called Kashashy.

how is he not the villain?... Elliott and his friends purchased a private school tup north 10ish years ago, ran it for a few months then told the head that they had made an error, sacked the staff with no notice, chucked out the pupils with no notice then turned the school into a retirement home and the grounds became a housing estate ..... his plans for Charlton are in Elliott's past history <ok> ....... Elliott wants to close us but unlike Millwall we do care!

As for people thinking Elliott has no money, don't make me laugh.

Elliott does not have the money to run a football club. He was essentially placed in as owner by the dodgy multi-conflict-of-interest Chris Farnell ahead of more logical bids. A quick look at the squad we are preparing for league 1 tells us all you need to know about his potential as owner. With a new prospect in the offing, now would be an ideal time for Elliott to stand aside. He's been offered the return of his money with interest. But as the transfer window ends fown he clings on, blocking any chance to move forward whole offering nothing more than an odd letter professing love for the club.
He's an integral part of the Farnell circus. He bought Charlton for a pound......

....which he still hasn't paid.

Paul Elliott is totally deluded.
He has invited Thomas Sandgaard to invest in CAFC and offer "ideas", but with Elliott himself remaining in charge as majority or sole shareholder.

Why would a real global success like Sandgaard want to put money into Charlton Athletic, but remain in the shadow a dodgy small-time player like Elliott, and his crooked neurotic lawyer chum?

With him not coughing up the quid being the key to the scumbag's downfall.

All part of his plan re the appeal.

The Court of Appeal Judge is not going to buy that feeble crap.

The fact that Elliott didn't even sign his deal with Nimer or pay his quid says everything about what an incompetent prat he is.
And how useless Farnell really is too.

Elliott is going to be a victim all right, but not of Charlton fans.
The friendly lenders he owes half a million pounds to will be wanting a word when the trial is over...

"Mr Elliott, I give you that a contract has not been signed by you transferring ownership of Charlton Athletic. Now f*** off out of this court."

No chance of the old black cap coming out of retirement I suppose?
"Mr Elliott. For being a severe pain in the arse, I hereby sentence you to hang by the neck until you are dead, dead, DEAD."

I bet Judges used to live just to say things like that.
Ah, the good old days.

Thomas Sandgaard has transferred enough money to run CAFC for the whole of next season (with no income) into a special account.
He has also provided proof of funds to the EFL.

Another big step forwards <ok>
That gesture also blasts Elliots lame “open letter” out of the water ! Applause to Mr Sandgaard <applause> <smooch>

Just appeared on ITTV that Saandgard has passed the OADT test while passing on funds to a holding account to keep the Addicks solvent this season. I don't think he knows much about football in England. The usual method was to empty the club accounts, pretend to be negotiating for players before popping up on twitter to badmouth your partners. Could be the Dane has a new way of doing things?
