Let me re-phrase it a bit, it's a different situation for Leo as he has got other clubs interested in him, so he has options as to who he can play for. We know there were bids back in January and that there have been bids in this window too, so he has options on the table, he can either play under McCann and the Allams or someone else. If you had those options as a pro footballer, would you not rather play for another club, one where the owners haven't actively asset stripped and one where a manager hasn't just taken 6 from 56 points

Or simply he has an offer of a better paid job elsewhere, how many here have not moved onto better paid jobs?

Think in a way this makes sense for both him and the club. Assume unless Burke leaves he will be first choice right sided centre back (although he needs to refind some form), so this guy will have to play his way into the team anyway.

He was a youngster at Arsenal, like his brother. They ditched him at 16 and we somehow latched onto him.
