He obviously got confused with his Spitfire; Supermarine, not Triumph...

A Tesla driver crashed into a police car after allegedly watching a film while his vehicle was on autopilot.

A North Carolina state trooper and a Nash County deputy said it happened while they were responding to a previous crash on Highway 64.

Devainder Goli's car hit the deputy's vehicle first, according to local media. That vehicle then hit the trooper's car, pushing both officers to the ground, police said.

They will be the future though mate. All tech has its hiccups initially. Remember folk freaked out when cars were first invented and you had to have a bloke walking in front of one waving a red flag <laugh>

Looks like I’m going to have a Tesla model 3 in the new year. Not sure how I feel about it to be honest. Watched a test drive of one. Looks ridiculously complicated to do anything in it.

It drives itself to a degree. Can roll ***s and drive without crashing. Ridiculously fast as well.

Pace of an M3 I believe, I think they’d be fun to drive. Just a shame that they look like some sort of Chinesey B&M own brand motor.

It’ll be free. No tax on it either I believe. If I stay with the company I will take it. Then maybe sell the jag and buy a Porsche Cayman. Ideally a new shape.

I didn’t even know there was variations, they all look the same apart from the odd one with those utterly hideous wheels.

On the subject of Porches, yesterday was the first time in my life I thought I’d opt for a Porsche over a Ferrari if I was able to buy one. I must have satisfied my inner ****wit with my RS.

The RS is a beast of a car. Was thinking of changing to the new shape ST. The new one looks classy, probably the prettiest of the hatchbacks currently. The 1 series looks ghastly with the new grille as do all the beamers now unfortunately. The old shape focus just looks like you should sell £20 bags to kids outside lidl or a middle aged man having a mid life crisis. Was pretty much settled on buying myself a lab Alfa Guilia this year til the bosses said we can have a model 3. Agree on the wheels mind. They’re awful.

I have to admit like as a daily I’d probably prefer an ST or a Golf GTI. The RS doesn’t seem to care if you’ve got a headache and just wanna chilled drive to the supermarket. Luckily the Mrs has a car for long journeys with the kids as well.

Yeah at factory. Mine’s 375, I’ve got the FPM375 upgrade, all Ford approved and fitted. Gives a bit more boost at the lower end of the rev range and about an extra mile per tank apparently <laugh>
