I’m not sure why folk are rejecting the rumours out of hand about the Maguire story. People are seemingly verifying the story that somebody had stuck something into his sister, he’s done well not to stab somebody in that situation, imo. ****ing hell.
Apparently one of the cops was slapping him telling him his career was over. He’s denying ever bribing the cops and I also believe him on that. I find it hard to believe the cops in Greece wouldn’t take the sort of bribe they could get out of somebody like Maguire.

By all accounts Maguire’s defence lawyer has a video of a police officer kicking him in the knee telling him his career is over.
Maguire has no history of off field troubles so I’m inclined to believe it was as told, god knows what the plans where with his sister if true.
Not to mention that the first contact was with undercover cops. Someone jabs your sister, bit of a melee then you get grabbed by an unknown? Who wouldn't lash out.
On the other hand the undercover cops say that they introduced themselves as police before the Maguires attacked them and that his sister didn't mention anything about being injected when questioned.
I'm on the fence about it because I wasn't there and don't know what happened but it'd hardly be the first time a bunch of lads got pissed and made arses of themselves. If she was indeed injected then they'd have every right to be livid, who knows what happened.

Having just seen the Harry Maguire BBC interview I have to say at first glance ...
... oh dear, what a load of drivel.
The police batter his legs yet he does the interview in shorts and there's not a mark on him.
His little sister goes unconscious, after being injected by strangers, yet they tell the driver to take them home, not directly to hospital.
They then 'park up' on the way home and are surrounded by 'kidnappers' ...
... so Maguire, and his mate, leg it leaving the women to their fate.
Stop digging Harry, hold your hands up and take your 'punishment' without all the crocodile tears.
