Takeover is dead... There was some false info suggesting that PIF hadn't officially withdrawn that allowed for some hope, but since that notion was rebuffed I can't understand why some are still seeking confirmation! PIF told us in writing isn't that enough?

Right can we just stop this negative relegation talk straight off the bat. This happens after every failed takeover and people need to get a grip. Every single ****ing time! Its the same "this looks like the last time we went down" we get every time.
We have enough in the coaching and playing ranks to stay up as it stands. At no point last season were we ever in danger of going down. You negative ****ers were wrong then. Not a little bit, a lot. So if you can just keep your powder dry it would be much appreciated. If your plan is to simply spend the next month moaning about Ashley, transfers, Bruce then I'd be grateful if you can **** off till xmas when there might actually be something to moan about. Failing that can one of the MODs create and sticky a thread where we can house these nutcases for a few month.
These boards should be full of hope heading into a season, its what our job is as supporters. Get behind the club, manager and players. Maybe Mike asked him to put the bid in when his attempt to get rid of the Saudis by upping the price failed, as he was having 2nd thoughts about selling.
Once PIF pulled out he was no longer required.
