    “Dear fans, I want to sell, PL won’t let me, there’s only one credible bid, hope they sort their differences out to give the club what it needs and deserves.”

    Then more fan antagonism towards both PL and NUST, no transfers and another season of Dwight ****ing Gayle and pals.

    It’s to focus the anger in the right place and put pressure on the PL. masters is probably saying ‘mike just accept one of the other bids’ and doing this closes that potential conversation.

    could be a good thing as he was quite connected to the deal and Staveley’s camp. If they were going to choose a Journo to write the inside story of the revisited acquisition it would be him.

    or.. there’s no news to report and he’s on his hols.

    Apparently the PIF have changed their investment strategy recently:

    They seem to be less interested in entertainment type investments and may have already moved on. There are no other legitimate bids as Ashley is asking for too much. Did he really raise the asking price at the end?
