just suddenly hit me, what would have happened if a League 1 team had got to the semi finals, as they wouldn't be playing regular games?
Well tbh mate, the whole thing is a farce as much as we pretend it isn't. Newcastle had a golden chance to really go for it and went out without a fight. They had home advantage, an attacking squad and no relegation concerns ... ... but barely made Man City sweat. I don't care who wins it now.
complete farce for sure. be the first year i wont be watching the semi finals or the final. got no interest in football at the moment. did you read the daily mail today, said the when they looked at the points given out under that weird system to work out play off places, promotion etc, the Coventry- Wycombe game the points awarded came to more than three.
Thing is. The teams that are left in semis have all been to Wemberley loads of times. Its like a second home game If the skunks had happened to get there..........I really feel sorry for their fans............ who would miss out on a trip to the new Wemberley Never mind **** happens
I won't be watching. I cannot stomach any more self applauding kneeling and have cancelled my sky sports.
Play Offs in The vanarama league. They are showing live streams, I will be signing up to watch the Slough Town v Dartford match along with a few beers and a buffet kindly provided by Mrs Ford. Up the Rebels! KO 13:30hrs
Aye, I find it mad in general that keepers seem to be able to turn dog **** overnight. I mean, he was never the world's best but Joe Hart was a cracking keeper at one point, now he'll struggle to find a half decent club. Not sure if confidence had more of an effect on keepers than it does outfield players but sometimes they just seem to lose it and there's no coming back
Hart is a great example. He’s so **** now everyone overlooks how good he was for a few years. Jack Butland a prime example as well, and dare we say it Pickford.
