it helped that a quite few others failed ahead plus 2 safety cars lto let him get there
Yes it did , but to finish first , first you have to finish . He lucked in , but that's part of life .
As gutted as I am for Albon, there is something oddly satisfying about a Red Bull double dnf at the Red Bull ring.
Surprised this didn't happen really, was the car really that marginal that they couldn't risk it.
Credit to the stewards for sorting the penalty out during the race, and for the TV graphics for being able to focus on the Hamilton-Norris gap effectively, really made the last few laps knowing the penalty and watching Norris smash that last lap.
Why? I have seen your reasons and I think that is an interpretation but I believe it is more a symbol that a complex statement.
