I like the way the Wales minister just put the easing of restrictions is a permission not an invitation...

I wouldn't even know who the welsh minister was that's how much sway they have with us Taff's..... Negligible puppets help by the purse strings of Parliament

I'll put my cards on the table, I'm not sending my daughter back to school. Not before Sept at the earliest and even then I'll assess the situation and decide then.

For me, it seems that the whole drive to open schools is based on the Govt telling people to get back to work and the subsequent childcare that will then be needed.

Neither is my child.....i brought her out early before the spreaders decided to close em and all..... Our government cannot be trusted and im glad I'm aware of it.... Most ain't and will follow whatever they say.

News today is that the relaxation of the lockdown is because we are now at stage three on the government's five stages.

Problem is the scientists have refused to drop the threat level from stage 4 but the government have decided to go ahead with relaxing the rules anyway.

This isn't following the science, it's following the herds. Throughout this whole thing the government have reacted to the public rather than led.

I hope it’s a blip too.

The evidence of my own eyes tells me social distancing in London has deteriorated massively in the last few days. The only evidence of it in Crouch End today is people queuing outside shops.

I don't think it is a blip.

Just saw a post from a mate in Brighton, where the infection rates are now starting to go up and the R is above 1. That means they are on for a second wave and that will likely be replicated across the country.

Down here in Cornwall, we did really well to keep the infection rates low. But since Boris told folk they can drive wherever they want, I've seen the beaches go from virtually empty to packed like a summer's day, with families, kids, granny, the dog etc. They are just treating like an extended summer holiday. Now he's relaxing the rules even more I expect to see the hordes all heading down here.

If any of you ****s decide to come down here, expect to see a road block made of burning tyres and bales of hay with a shotgun toting hippy, wearing second hand trainers patrolling it.

my sister and her family are on the way down in June <ok>

I'll tell her if there's a hippy wearing clothes made of pebbles trying to spoil her holiday she should just run him over.

If you could give me the heads up as to what car they’ll be driving so I can jump out of the way. Cheers bro
