Between his mum and myself we do some reading, writing, numbers n art stuff. Not always...it's not regimented.

He's only 5...I let him roam and be free. He's very good at some PS4 games...knows his prayers and is getting into kicking a ball...he's defo learning things. His spatial awareness is superb...that's thanks to Lego marvel super heroes.

my little un has mastered Lego Star Wars these last few weeks.

and yep agreed, no need to go nuts on the academic side of things. We’re doing loads of stuff together outside and she’s learning all sorts.

went up to an old Iron Age village the other day. She was pretending I was an Iron Age inhabitant and was asking me all sorts of questions about ‘my’ age, and in return telling me all about the ‘modern’ world.

we covered all sorts of topics, history, ecology, science and technology, biology etc. So learning doesn’t have to happen in the classroom.

This government chucks scapegoats under the bus almost as frequently as they put lies on the side of them.

There you go again. Regardless of who I vote for or what I support, it does not make people immune from criticism, but like the Daily Mail quote you made to me, and now buses, you can't give it a rest.

It's much the same as if I were constantly 'quoting' and ranting like you, that Corbyn rubbed shoulders with terrorists, and Starmer allowed a celebrity **** to walk our streets, but I don't and this thread would go down hill, as in the past, pretty quickly.

Have your view, but leave me out of it. I will slate a Tory government as much as I would a Labour one, but I'm really not interested in your bias, directly aimed at me.

So as you choose to constantly try and suppress my views with constant 'quote' and pointless remarks, then I will supress your view to express them. Bye.

Boris Johnson has done another runner from PMQs because Starmer keeps destroying him

He's also going on holiday for the next 2 weeks after which he assumes everything will be fine and schools can open

Meanwhile Cambridge University have scrapped lectures until 2021

Any of you lot got young kids and having to do homeschooling ?

Started off pretty bumpy in our house, my daughter did not like the fact that her Dad had suddenly become her teacher. But bit by bit we're getting there with it. There's a definite line though, if I push it too much then it just ends up in tears.

and then I have to go and sulk in my room for an hour
Have you done the lesson yet on not eating half eaten kebabs you find on the floor in bus stops?

I love the way Starmer uses his tone, from low to high....to low again, to lure Boris into the hole.

Johnson: "foreign NHS staff saved my life... on the other hand we can raise money by ****ing them with surcharges"

Unbelievable that we haven't got track and trace yet.

The Royal mail can tell me, where my new sandwich toaster is, all over the country.

Some place in wales I've never heard off atm.

I think the only thing I would say to that, is will people use it when it is available, I thought I'd already read dissenting voices about it. Which also includes myself. I do not agree with any form of tracing, that comes into governement hands.

We've got it at the mother-in-law's mate ... Danish salami, Jarlsberg cheese slice and caramelized onion is my favourite, so far <cheers>
