The season was extended indefinitely because under the current rules it had to complete by June 1st, so they removed that requirement.
Kopites have chosen to take that as meaning ad infinitum, even if the fallow period extended into years......because this season is just so special![]()
It's special because it's the one that actually exists right now, with financial obligations.
It's a simple bet I propose, and doesn't depend on interpreting anything anyone says; the current Premier League season will be finished before the next Premier League season is started. If so you lose, except if it finishes before June 30th in which case you're let off.
