Sorry to burst your balloon again, but the Premier League has cash reserves of circa £1.5BN.

So your plan is that just because a company has loads of money it's willing to use it to help out in a crisis?

    Is that you Boris?

You said the competition would be bankrupt with a TV clawback of circa £750m.

Only it wouldn’t, would it? as I’ve just provided you with some information that you patently didn’t have, that clearly shows it wouldn’t even be close to bankruptcy if this clawback came to pass.

You need a new angle mate, as this one has been shot to pieces.

That's just TV. Add in sponsors and other costs (inevitable court cases over promotion/relegation).

Plus the EFL is already bankrupt and hoping the PL will help.

Good luck to any club choosing to sue over a promotion they hadn’t yet secured, due to a season eventually voided due to a force majeure.

Relegation? Clubs suing as they hadn’t been relegated? Riiiiiight.

The EFL are reported going to ask for a £50m bail out from the PL, pocket change, as already explained.

Sponsorships are individual clubs issue and far from insurmountable.

    More straws needed bro.

Are you just Diegoing here or do you actually think the PL won't finish the current season?

If so, how many avatar weeks would you be interested in wagering?

My position on this hasn’t changed from the off fella. If they can finish the season, then they will. However, that won’t be at the expense of next season, nor is it at all likely to go past June 30th.

UEFA / FIFA will end up calling it, when they make their respective final decisions on the future of the CL/EL and their verdict on the contract issue.

If you want a bet you need to be specific as to the detail.

I reckon there's no chance the next Premier League season starts until the current one is completed.

Depends if you're willing to make June 30th a hard limit (still no winner in case of the league finishing before then anyway).

Go on then, if it goes past June 30th and they’ve still not called that it’ll be completed, then it’ll be voided.

    2 month avatar bet.

They've already called it will be completed regardless of June 30th

The bet's only void if they complete the season before June 30th

They haven’t said that at all.

    Take the bet or don’t

The season has been extended "indefinitely", what part of "indefinitely" means "up to June 30th"?

Pub leagues have also been ended. Except for the Wetherspoons Vase.

The season was extended indefinitely because under the current rules it had to complete by June 1st, so they removed that requirement.

Kopites have chosen to take that as meaning ad infinitum, even if the fallow period extended into years......because this season is just so special <laugh>
