Found it here if anyone is interested. https://www.tr.news/tommy-robinson-stops-coronavirus-attack-in-the-uk/
Sounds like you are getting your excuses in early. In current circumstances most jobs, especially those requiring 3 screens, don’t actually need to be done.
oh, it's not an excuse. It's human nature. People will naturally, be doing other things at home whether they be house chores or just through pure laziness (i'm the latter, i've just gotten too comfortable and unmotivated). I will still get my work done but i know for someone who looks at multiple spreadsheets, having 1 screen is a definite hindrance compared to two. I'm just saying, i actually think productivity is less at home and i know for a fact a couple of my colleagues are extreme and take the piss
Nice to see Gove take the wind out of the sails of that fat wannabe-Geordie **** Mike Ashley, who was planning to keep his stores open as they supply "essential keep fit equipment", and has now been forced to back down and shut them all.
Even nicer to hear him say that construction sites can stay open as long as they practice 2 m social distancing. So Woody and Col and my sons are not being told they can’t work, and Bob has the choice. Good.
Cant see that even lasting for too much longer to be honest. Very mixed messages from the government and similar to those messages before. Who is libel if a contract isn't completed on time etc
Just seen the pictures on the news. Nothing short of ridiculous. We will never halt the spread with actions like this and it will just drag it all out for longer and longer
Sorry Bobby, are you a social psychologist? I find the ‘it’s human nature’ argument a handy get out for cynicism and a justification for personal behaviour. Are the idiots ignoring social distancing and hoarding typical of ‘human nature’ or are the many going out of their way to help those more vulnerable than themselves? One size fits all arguments don’t work. So you may well represent a section of the workforce who see this as an excuse to draw a wage for as little as possible because their boss isn’t looking over their shoulder and basically because they don’t like their jobs. Fair enough. Others will try really hard to make it work, and will find it difficult because they don’t realise how much of a social experience working in an office is. Then some of them will realise that without the social distractions of the office they can get their work done more quickly and efficiently, ie do their job and have time to play around/do the laundry whatever. And efficient companies will eventually realise that the people taking the piss weren’t actually adding any value anyway and can be safely got rid of. Fortunately many companies aren’t that efficient because they are run by ****wits, so many useless and disliked jobs will be safe. Use your common sense Strolls. Surely a man of your wisdom and experience doesn’t need to be told to do things, least of all by Boris Johnson? What do you think is the right course of action?
They don't care, Bob. For them, it's a risk of getting a spell of something like flu. If they pass it to someone vulnerable, tough.
Why does trouble always seem to follow Tommy Robinson? Obviously in this case he was out with his family when the incident happened and its clearly not his fault. But bloody hell every video of him now seems to be him minding his own business and suddenly walks into a bank robbery or something.
It’s times like these that you wish we had functioning facial recognition systems on public transport. For the reckoning.
That is true i agree with this. Maybe human nature is the wrong phrase but just like, murderers, addicts, racists, good people, bad people and the whole spectrum, there will be people all over the spectrum. I think that people who are socially distracted at work will be just as distracted at home. Obviously we have no metric to quantify both so i guess this will just be a debate we have. I just personally feel that on the whole, people get less work done at home and thats through personal experience of myself and speaking to my colleagues.
I was right with my sums and Italian death toll is slowing down. Although I still haven't seen yesterdays drop results. This can only be a good thing and hopefully we may not get hit like them. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...serious-about-lockdowns-as-italy-slows-deaths
Yes, my post wasn't really about my own situation, more to illustrate the confused and contradictory nature of the advice/instructions. I certainly wouldn't get on a crowded tube train, but, based on my experience of yesterday, I could go to work outside of rush hours without endangering myself or anybody else.
