The Henriksen saga was a mystery, there is no doubt e could have done with him in the side during his absence. He played for Bristol City in their last game and got MOTM, which makes it even more galling.

Does anyone have the inside track on whether this was an Ehab instruction not to play him or a McCann decision?

No inside track John, but I’d stake my life on the Allam’s throwing their teddy out as Henriksen wouldn’t dance to their tune regarding the new contract, and then McCann not wanting to upset the ****s by arguing the obvious case of playing him.

That's exactly what I thought but was just interested whether anyone had heard a whisper about it.

Ex City youth and Scarborough winger Will Annan has signed for North Ferriby.

Good luck to him, Ferriby should have a good enough squad to get promoted now, they’re on a great run.

May well be but I stick with my suspicions that McCann didnt like his attitude when he refused to play for us citing his head wasnt in the right place with transfer speculation. Given how stubborn he is with his tactics it wouldnt surprise me at all if he shunned him.

They were a decent watch last Saturday against Glasshoughton Welfare.

They're going along nicely. I was speaking to the manager of the reserves and he joked that he was pissed off because if Ferriby don't get promoted, the stiffs can't go up either <laugh>.

Not that they would, they're second bottom with 12 points. South Cave are top of the Humber Prem, though. Go on lads.

Not City related, but Barcelona have been granted permission to sign a striker in an emergency transfer. That striker being Martin Braithwaite, who spent a few forgettable seasons at the Smoggies.

The ****? If I was a youth player I’d be well pissed off.

Also, why can’t we apply for one? Oh. Yeah. Money.

What constitutes a ****ing emergency?

Only GKs should be allowed as emergency signings.

I don't think that any emergency loans should be sanctioned for occupational injuries, as it is so open to abuse and ends up making a mockery of the transfer Windows system.

If it is to be allowed then the criteria should be non-sports related accidents or death.
