It sounds as if we have signed Grosicki Mk2 but with an even bigger ego and more capacity for sulking. Doesn't sound like a team player to me. Maddison is a major punt by our manager, Maddison either makes us or breaks us. Going to be one hell of a rollercoaster ride to the end of the season, it is nevr boring being a Hull City fan.
I admire their (and your) optimism, when was the last time we got beat that bad at home? 1-7 v Spurs I think. That didn't end well
We were 3rd bottom weren’t we in the pl!! We’re on 39 points now Third bottom last season in the championship got relegated with 40 points So I think we’ll be fine. tho I’m sure some fanny will come on here and say we won’t win a point all season
I don't think we will be relegated but we need to start to seriously fight for points and show some balls!
I think we're in a rut and I think we'll turn it around, but the benchmark for the Championship is usually 52 points (though I think Peterborough actually went down with 52 in the past). We can achieve that, because that's only four more wins and a few draws will see us through. What I want to see is more heart from the players, getting beat with our boots on is fine, I can deal with that. But the last 6 or 7 performances we haven't looked anything like good enough. Not even close.
Apologies if it's already been posted. Just listened to Darragh McAnthony's talk on you tube. Re. MM, ermmn... he might be a player, but it doesn't sound good ..... at all. And I assumed it must have been a loan with an agreement already in place with the player for him to sign permanently in summer. Doesn't sound the case at all. In fact, sounds like we'd have next to no chance of signing him permanently. So what's the ****ing point??!! Can only think the delusion with GMcC and Enob runs even deeper than we thought. FFS.
Presumably suits Maddison as the loan gives him the opportunity to prove he’s good enough to earn a contract at this level. And it suited McCann because Grosicki had left abruptly and we needed someone to replace him, even if it’s a stopgap till summer. Then we’ll have more time to get someone on a lower wage.
Hope neither and that young Scott makes the step up. Seen absolutely nothing in Wilks so far, Maddison I suspect will be played more on the left unless through the middle his preferred positions based on his welcome interview
