It hasn't definitively 'not happened' yet ... ... although you seem absolutely desperate for that to be the case. Oxford back from 2-0 down at the death Bruce already had Joelinton off, thought he'd won it and took Almiron off ... ... Shearer can hardly speak!
I'm not, I'd like them to come on board, but you said you saw a text from Fuhrman saying he was now the owner of SAFC. That hasn't happened. Trying to spin this another way is daft. I think I've made it clear, but my position is that it looks very likely we will be sold to someone else, because if FPP were willing to pay £40m, he'd already have done that deal as he sincerely seems to believe they are the best option, as do you, I, and everyone else. So I think the signs point to new potential parties.
That's exactly what he said, there's no spin whatsoever. It appears that's what he decided and he may well be right.
Owner seeking £40m according to Bloomberg. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/sunderland -owners-seek-52-million-in-sale-of-u-k-soccer-team-1.1384820
Well what I'm saying is that quite patently that didn't happen back then, so why believe the same source again. He isn't the owner of SAFC. That statement, whoever made it, was a lie. And I can definitely back that one up with 'documentary evidence' In all seriousness, like I say, if two parties are willing to pay £40m and one was FPP, he'd take FPP's deal and we probably would never go through the public stuff.
The commentator was laughing earlier when he said Newcastle have won 4 cups since 1955 .... ... and none of them still exist
It was Fuhrman and he obviously believed it at the time. He was speaking to a close friend who replied and congratulated him. If you choose to believe Fuhrman was deliberately lying that's your affair.
Could it possibly be that at the time Furhman thought he had bought SAFC? Do business purchase contracts have cooling off periods? genuine question as i don't know. If so then maybe something came up during the cooling off period and one of the parties changed their mind.
