Hope so mate, I still believe FPP are the most likely. Various people, including the journalist in the OP, have been saying things are heating up and other people interested. So we'll all have to hope it's done soon and we can get some direction back at the club.

We're relatively cheap for the size of the club and it's fan base Football is the fastest growing sport in the US The Netflix series is effectively free advertising There are so many upsides for the right person to take over.
