TBF there's nowhere in this country anything like as impressive as Versailles and it's grounds - not to mention their weather being better!
We'll of course ...
... that's where the Sun King is from

Loads of Brits used to go to places like Agincourt ....
..... mostly blokes tbh, must've been stag nights or summat.
I believe Agincourt is where the 2 fingers FO, comes from... allegedly the English long bow men showing the French they had all their fingers and could fire their arrows at them.
Buckingham Palace is a building, it doesn't need over priveleged idiots waving from it's balcony to attract tourists. Indeed if the Queen moved out we could have unlimited access for tourists or even have it as an expensive hotel for these foreign tourists desperate to throw their money into our economy. Funny how the French and the Germans got rid of their "Royal Families" and their economies and tourism there haven't seemed to suffer as a result.
What a crock of ****.Buckingham Palace had not been decorated since the Queen moved in sometime in the 1950's. The wealthiest woman in the world sat back and let the vast majority of it become filthy as she wanted the taxpayer to pay for a refurb rather than herself. Should I expect the taxpayer to pay for decorating my home as I don't fancy paying for paint.
Have you drove an armoured limo?Mrs Smug had this idea that Diana was murdered for some reason. So, on a trip home, I drive her into that tunnel at 60mph. She nearly **** herself and tbh so did i, it was scary. The car Diana was travelling in was doing far more than 60mph and an amoured limo which are terrible to handle.
There was no need for the car to be travelling that fast, through a busy city centre, in any case. The press had cameras, not machine guns.
Diana was a woman on a night out with her latest boyfriend while someone else was babysitting the kids ....
.... she died because her boyfriend was acting the big shot, to impress her, and asking the staff to break the law.
I've been in that position many times and it's a long long way from being funny.
Have you drove an armoured limo?
I have, just agency cars with special glass, etc ...
... not actually on jobs, just back to the depot or whatever.
They're built for comfort, not manoeuvrability.
I’d imagine behind closed doors it’s no secret to Harry who his real Father is so I doubt he feels like he’s stabbing Charlie in the back.I’m a bit of a nationalist, not a great deal, but in my eyes, he’s stabbed the Queen and his father in the back. Surely he should have have had the common decency to tell them, or speak to them, about what he was doing? I had a great deal of admiration for him, but that’s gone out the window now he’s scared of his bit actress.
My dear old Mum always reckoned the establishment/royalty wanted rid of Diana because she was bringing the monarchy into disrepute with her liaisons with unsuitable boyfriends. Perhaps Harry also reckons this is the case...he has never got on with his so called grandfather (there is doubt who his father might be..)... so this split from the Saxe-Coburgs might be more about who he actually is rather than Meghan's doing. He might only be related to William his half-brother

Going back to last year and watching the interviews with Harry and Meghan both were clearly troubled and unhappy. Harry has never liked doing the royal stuff, he’d rather do a days graft in the forces and then go home and light a joint up. He’s always looked uncomfortable amongst the other Royals, imo.
There’s definitely something bigger and underlying between Harry and Meghan and William and Kate. I wouldn’t be surprised if those stopped communicating altogether now.
That's a very specific example mateOuch!
Harsh but true, she's like the gorgeous girlfriend who takes you clothes shopping ...
... and you end up looking a total bellend with all your mates laughing at you.
If she told him he'd look great with dreadlocks and a platted beard he'd believe her and do it.

Everybody is. I think it's fair to say that you could notice during the interviews with Harry and Meghan, last year, that they were both struggling to cope.I never bought in to the image of Diana Spencer as a 'saintly' woman. Indeed, I always regarded her as a manipulative, self serving control freak who used the Royal family for her own ends.
Just think back to the first posed photograph of her, after her relationship with Charles became public knowledge (in the garden with the sun making her skirt see through). The photographer had, apparently warned her but she insisted that he took the shot, knowing how it would turn out and her subsequent behaviour with Fergie et al for proof of her real character.
Now, given Harry lost his mother (who he clearly idolised) at such a young age is it any surprise that he's found someone of similar ilk, from yet another dysfunctional family, who he's allowing to control his every action?
I just see him as spineless and is clearly allowing Meghan to act as a replacement for his mother.
Even the Queen is questioning the state of his mental health!

That’s just media talk, at the moment. It transpires, as most suspected, that it is Meghan who is behind this.
The Times says Prince Harry is "in turmoil" over cutting his royal links and would be "heartbroken" if he had to sever ties altogether. However, a source close to the couple has told the paper that Meghan is determined to step away.
It's also being reported that she is attempting to blackmail the Queen with threats of a 'tell all' interview on Oprah unless she gets her own way!
